❤️ Red Velvet Cupcakes (Moist, Classic & Crowd-Loving)
Ingredients — Cupcakes

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp fine salt

1 large egg, room temp

½ cup buttermilk, room temp

½ cup vegetable oil
-
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 tsp white vinegar
-
1–1½ tbsp red food coloring (liquid or gel)
Ingredients — Cream Cheese Frosting

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cups powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla

Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Make the Cupcakes

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake pan with 12 liners.

In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk egg, buttermilk, oil, vanilla, vinegar, and red coloring until smooth.

Add dry ingredients to wet and stir gently until just combined — don’t over-mix.

Fill each liner ⅔ full and bake 15–18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool completely before frosting.
2. Cream Cheese Frosting

Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy.

Add powdered sugar gradually until smooth.

Mix in vanilla and a pinch of salt.

Pipe generously onto cooled cupcakes.
